Hi all in the middle of doing a cam belt change (first one i've ever done) and carnt get the cam to line up with the crank.
When the crank is locked to the water pump (think this is called t.d.c)the cams are about 2 teeth out to the right on cam's 1+2 and about the same on 3+4 PLEASE HELP........

No mate not yet i have'nt taken the old belt off yet because of them not lining up .

In that case the original timing must be out, do you have the DVD that is available on here, locking kit and idler/belt kit?

If there's a position of the crank where you can get the cams lined up, lock the cams with it in that position, remove the belt and then turn the crank carefully to the locked position and lock the crank (be careful not to let it turn too far or you could damage valves).
If that doesn't work, turn the crank back to 60 degrees BTDC, remove the belt carefully trying not to let the cams spring round as the tension is removed, then use a Torx socket and breaker bar on each cam to line them up and lock (easier with a couple of extra pairs of hands).
