Why is it leaking into the car?

If it is bloked no need to remove it, take off the two heater pipes that go through the bulkhead and stick your garden hose on one then the other flushing it out :y

whole day job even in opel service..

lots of stuff to take out..if all the nuts and screws are not moved you

will break some plastic parts which will make noise after..

and theres a gray plastic pipe behind the steering which hides a screw..

so  dont bend or force the dash ..You must completely

move it..Also as I watch them they disconnect the battery and take

the airbags out..(at least the passenger side is must I think)

the box around the hand brake also goes out ..Some screws are

hidden also in the vents and lightswitch area..

Sorry for bad explanation :-[

Last year I was quoted £460=00 to remove and replace heater matrix, but that did include price of heater but unsure if it was for original GM unit as local vauxhall specalist garage(if there is one !!)but was warned that may need to get some extra parts once they got it to pieces as some bits would almost certainly break..not sure waht they really ment by that as never got it done

Given the symptoms it sounds like it might just want the rubber seals changing which is much easier.
