Title: someone please shed some light

help me please !! can someone please tell me where i can get light bulbs from lol well let me start went to my local halfords looked on the chart for my car picked out all the bulbs like it said that would fit my facelift mv6 h1 for the fogs check h1 for hid check h7 for main beam check spent best part of £80 as i wanted the nice blue tinted ones went home to fit and to my suprise the only ones that did fit are the h7 for the main beam fogs have some sort of adapter on them and the hid ones are just strange so please someoe show me the light even if its just for the fogs as there a nasty dull colour compared to the rest many thanks :'(

Best off going to Vx for bulbs as some cheap ones play havoc with the MID check warning  :y

fog lights are h1 and main beam are h7 dipped beam are ds2 hid xenon bulbs about £90 each from vauxhall !! the plastic part on rear of fogs just turns and comes ff deffo h1 under there mate !! :y

ah cheers bud just didnt want to snap the thing off do you know if you can get a different tint on the hid`s as i seen a is200 with nice bright blue tint or the ones found on range rover sports

could be your ds2 hid bulbs are getting tired bud and losing there light output ! i have hids in my mv6 and find them spot on !! :y

Yes, plenty available on ebay with higher temperature light output.

Foglights are NOT H1 fitment on facelift, they are H3. This is where all the confusion stems from. Reach up underneath bumper to change.

It's important to note that alot of auto stockist don't have correct information for facelift/new engined omegas.

I don't think non vauxhall bulbs 'create havoc with the check control' either. Only certain LED bulbs may do that, if the correct load isn't presented to the system.

Lot's of urban myth floating around the internet.
