hi people , just a few things,,
went for a good spin down to london yesterday and all is well except ,
an oil leak ive noticed down by oil filter (area),
and is it a common thing for the rear passanger and quarter windows to stay missted up , even with the climate control on auto?? :-?
oh, and one other thing , is there any way of reseting the airbag light or can it only be done with diagnostics??
cheers ;)

Regarding the oil leak, check the spark plug wells are free of oil. Prime candidate is the cam cover gaskets which fail following blocked breathers. If it's not that it could be the oil cooler pipes which connect to the block just above the oil filter.
Leaks can be traced more easily if you clean and degrease the area dnd look for signs of fresh leakage.
Windows should stay clear IME. Worth checking that the puollen filter under the passenger side of the scuttle is clean, and also that the drain grommet at the bottom of the recess in which it sits is clear.
Also, switch on and off the recirculation and make sure you can hear a flap moving under the dash. If that has stuck on it could cause the buildup of damp.
Airbag light needs a Tech 2 ( or possibly cheapo Tech 2) to reset it.

If you have a car full of wet people, the rear windows can steam up a bit, but should clear on that journey. Check the cubby hole in boot on drivers side is clear - these are the cabin exhaust vents.
See http://theboy.omegaowners.com for airbag reset - I'm in Brackley, 15mins from M1 Jnc15a

Has your air con been recently serviced? I ask because mine seemed to work OK, the compressor engaged whe it should, but when the 2 of us were in the car in wet weather, I continually had to have my CC aimed at the screen. When I got some one to look at the air con system there was 200-odd grams of refrigerant in there ......there should be nearly a kilo. All is now cool! ;)

well,, ive checked vents,, all clear, so think i'll get the air con serviced
and possibly pay the boy a visit,, :y

a blocked scuttle drain causing the passenger side carpets to be wet (are your carpets wet??) will also cause the passenger side windows to stay misty if the water is settling in the rear footwell more than the front
-
nope,, all vend are good, no water in footwells :-/
i think next step would be air con re-gas
