I have just bought a 3ltr Elite '97 Well impressed with it .except no heating comes out no matter what heating settings I try... I looked under the bonnet and found the pipes going to the heater matrix have been cut and joined together with a bit of hose and two jubilee clips bypassing the heating radiator ... there has probably been a leak from the heater in the past... cant deal with this myself can anyone recommend a place that can fix this problem some where near to the Derby area please ??

I would go back to the pervious owner and:
a) get more info on why the heat exchanger was bypassed
b) unless he declared that this was done on the car, a partial refund
Very shoddy work imo
