coming home from work today my meega wasent running on 6 cylinders got a feeling my camshaft senser might be playing up can anyone comfirm this thanks for the help

do you mean lack of power or just slow on the uptake?

yes a lack of power doesnt sound like its running on all 6?

If your suspicion is correct, a compression test will confirm or not if it's running on all 6. Do you have any other symptoms? missfire?

I would do a paperclip test and see if there are any trouble codes. If not, have a look for oil in your plug wells in case the cam cover gaskets have gone.

It's the crank sensor that normally gives trouble on the V6. That will give you a code 19 with engine running.

I suspect no ECU light on and either oil in the plug wells or a dead DIS pack....

Cant see the crank sensor causing such symptoms....and it certianly is not the cam sensor.
