Title: autobox nut

i cant get the nut undone on the autobox to check the level, thread is knackered, any ideas as ive not a lot of room underneath

Are you just checking the level or doing a full renew? If the latter you are going to have to take the sump off anyway so you might be able to work on the bolt easier with it off.

I had the same problem but as I was doing a full change I took the sump off complete and drilled the fooka out.

Either try some good monkey grips or save it for another weekend  :y

i'll probably pay m8s dad to do it, hes a mechanic, save me the hassle  i think   ;)

A lot of them seem to have been fitted (at the factory) rather too tight. A few people on here have had problems, me included.
