Title: Self levelling - guide how to fit?
Post by: V8S on 30 March 2008, 19:18:16
Hi - I'm getting a self-levelling damper during the week and am looking for a guide or two to help fit it.

Anyone know of one? Have searched cavweb and OOF; lots of people saying they've fitted them, no one saying how.

Assume it's very straightforward then?

Cheers!

Very! A nut & bolt at the bottom, & a nut inside the boot area (under the plastic domed covers) just make sure you fit the spread washer & rubber bushes correctly. As easy as that.

I would give the bottom nut and bolt a good clean with a wire brush and lashings of Plusgas the night before :y

Hi V8s
How about doing a guide (photos etc) when you do yours? It would be appreciated in the future
