Well I drove all the way to Burton at the weekend to my brother's 288 miles round trip and only used 20ltr's of fuel! Not bad me think's. Filled up before I left and put in £20 of fuel, got to Burton and topped up with £11, 10 ltr's there and 10 ltr's back.

I did forget to say I kept at a steady 70 80 mph and yes £31 of fuel which isn't bad I suppose.

on a long run i can get about 180 miles out of £20,about 45mpg not bad for a 2.0ltr 16v with 160,000 miles on and 12 years old :y :y :y 288miles out of £31 about right i'd say ,spot on mpg :y :y :y

I checked my mpg at the weekend - 32mpg, and that's a mixture of town and motorway driving. I don't think that's too bad at all for a 3.2 V6!

Last week I drove up to County Durham on the M6 and A66 then travelled around Durham to different jobs then home on the Friday via the A66 and M6, a total of 384 miles and I still had a bit in the tank. Not bad for a 3.2 :y
