Title: Steering Idler Quick Question

Right Since The Weather is better but turning nasty this weekend and i have some time away from work i am going to replace my Passenger side Steering Idler since it has vertical movement and the MOT is Due soon i just wanted to know is the steering idler on the drivers side the same part and is it best to just replace both of these or is it only the passenger side that gets loose over time ?

There is no idler on the drivers side - that is the steering gear itself, and is generally very reliable :y
