Title: misfire when cornering
Post by: steve wass on 07 April 2008, 10:07:30
Hope some one can help, every now and then i get a misfire and it seems worse when i go round roundabouts and tight bends.
It does misfire sometimes on the straight , but very rarely.
And 7/10 times when it misfires, the engine management light comes on and then goes off again when the car stops misfireing.
Very strange, can someone please help me as im a omega virgin and need somebody to break me in.....ha.ha.ha.
It is a 2.0 16v ecotec engine on a 1998 R plate.

If its an older engine, do a paperclip test (see Maintenence Guides)

as mentioned, we need to know what engine you have as that makes a BIG difference on how we can help.... or what might be the problem.

Petrol or diesel? V6 or 4 pot!?

We need to know!
