Hey
Cars being a bit of a pain when it comes to cold starts, can take quite a bit of effort to get going.
Just tried starting it before, took about 7 or 8 attempts to get running, and even then each time I had to crank it for longer than usual!
When it does eventually start, it runs lumpy for a few seconds (feels like running on 4 or 5 cylinders), then runs fine.
Not sure what it could be. The DIS pack has just been changed, but all the old symptoms are back again now, plus this new cold starting problem...

Try an initial crank with your foot to the floor and then start it as normal......let us know what happens

Will do in the morning mark :)

Coughed, spluttered and died with full throttle on attempt 1.
2nd attempt (without throttle pressed) coughed spluttered, pop.
3rd attempt, started :)
Each attempt at cranking (except 3rd which started straight away) lasted for about 5 seconds. Did seem to kick in quicker though than without the throttle pressed.

Fired up after 3 seconds of cranking at full throttle thismornin :)
But when I tried again after it was cold (after being out) tried with no throttle and it played up again until I pressed the throttle...

Right.....the idea behind the sudgestion is that on full throttle and cranking the injectors do not fire which will clear out any fuel in the inlet due to weaping injectors.
The start just after this should then be easier.
The symptoms are sudgesting some possibly dirty injectors which are leaking down slightly whilst stood.
Hove you ever tried a dose of Forte fuel treatment?

Not tried any treatment yet, but I'll nip down to the local factors and get some in it, see if it helps!
If not, would it be easier to get the injectors cleaned professionaly, or just get another inlet from the scrappers??
