Title: CDX Estate auto leveling suspension..

Afternoon all,

My first proper post as it were,

Basically what makes up the rear self leveling suspension on my 97 cdx estate?

What sort of maintainance do they require ?

I assume the autobox is four speed judging by 1,2,3,D,N,R,P?

Usually a pump underneath the driver side wing, small tubes run to the rear shocks, the shocks have inflatable tubes on the outside, air inflates the shocks and raises the car. level sensor on nearside rear suspension arm contols the height of the car. Thats a simplistic view..

just what i sort of thought, some sort of simple system, i take it the system works well? :)

Adding to JonR questions is there a simple testt that can be carried out for the self leveling suspention.

Annother question from me is do the elite salons have the pump/self leveling suspenstion

It's on the DRIVER'S side. The level switches on the near side are for the HID lighting where fitted.  :y

As good as Omega estate is, the load area is still not quite as big as a MKII Granny Estate.  :y  :y


A granny estate fits 3 coffins side by side!  ::)  ::)  :y
