Title: Fault code 1502
Post by: Dangerous Dan on 16 April 2008, 17:52:42
just did the paperclip test on my omega gls and have fault codes

0340 - Camshaft sensor
1502 - ??
1230 - Main Relay Open Circuit

the wiper relay is missing, i guess that would explain the 1230 code, and changing the camshaft sensor is pretty self-explainatory. but any ideas what 1502 could mean? i double checked it and it's def reading 1502.

thanks

Common when the camshaft sensor goes wrong for it to bring up pretty random codes.  It's a no brainer really - change the sensor and hope that it disappears.  If your engine management light starts flashing and the car won't start then you can begin to worry about the immobiliser.  I wouldn't worry too much about it, I'm sure it will disappear when the camshaft sensor is changed.
