have got a problem with my sat nav, every time insert disk it throughs it back out, have tried several disks, still same problem, any ideas please.

It MIGHT just be worth running a cleaning disc through it, this happens when the system can't "read" the disc.. if the laser is dirty you might just get lucky ... if the laser is fubared ... it's expensive ....
Will cost very little to get a cleaning disk, although the chances of it working are low ... :(
Dave in the ICE section is the resident expert on these things .. :)

If you have used CDR map disks, then there is a good chance the unit is fubar - Philips CD players seem more prone to damage to lasers...

Yup, made by Philips (before they sold off to VDO), so probably a knackered laser due to using CDRs.
