I have a starting problem with the 2.2ltr diesel I have here. I have fitted the oil cooler to it and the thermostat and housing (thankyou to autovaux for supplying them) connected everything else that was taken off (Hoses extra) but now it wont start. It turns over no problem but does not fire, it seems if the fuel is not getting to the injectors.
Question, would this be anything to do with the bleed off pipe? or is it something else? I did connect jump leads to the battery and forgot that the ignition wa turned on, could I have blown the diesel pump fuse as it doesn't look as there is any fuel coming up. ( removed the bleed off pipe whilst the engine was bieng turned over)
Any help gratefuly received.

P.S this is the car I have had here for nine months.

Spounds like it might have an airlock in the fuel system, have you cracked an injector pipe to see if the fuel is getting there?

No I haven't. Could I have blown a fuse or relay for the diesel pump?

Well got the car started last night. Took a few turns but managed to get it going. Hopefully he will be coming to get the car tonight so it will be gone for good.
