Post by: Bacon Butty Man on 29 April 2008, 14:01:44
have looked at the removal of the clocks thread and looks pretty straight forward, but when all the screws are out will the clocks simply lift out and what kind of roome is there to get at the buld, are there any linkages i would need to remove. :-/

I found that the clearance between the clocks/mid housing, the upper lip of the dashboard and the top edge of the steering column was very limited, even after removing the top cover of the said column.

However, with some wriggling and angling of the clocks unit it all came to replace the bulbs.  Just be careful of all the circuitaryon the back as  it could be easily damaged. :y

No they do not lift straight out :'(; as I stated you have to wriggle the whole unit into an angle where you find it all does come out. :y
