Title: replacing the rocker gaskets on a 3.0

Is it a big job replacing the gaskets ?

big enough, more fiddly than anything else. i'm doing mine for the 1st time at mo.  this forum is very good for help though.
 
p.s cam belt even bigger  :D

If you are referring to the cam cover gaskets, then see:

If it is your first time, give it half a day to make sure you familiarise yourself with the parts, and also clean them properly etc. An experienced mechanic should be able to this is two hours or so (or even less if it was a rush job).

Make sure you use genuine GM parts, or you'll be doing it again soon.

If you have read the how too you will already know this, but dont forget to clean out the breathers as these blocked up cause the Cam Cover Gaskets to go in the first place :y
