Title: Alarm which keeps going off !

I'm using my husbands car X Reg Omega at the moment and the alarm is driving me nuts.    It has been going off intermittently.   For example, I parked tonight at 5pm, went off about three times at 7.30, no one is near it.   I have to open and lock the car again hoping each time, that it won't go off again.   It can then go days without it happening, so I wondered if anyone can give me any advice.  I would appreciate any help given

First step is to disconect bonnet switch and see what happens ;)

Thanks for your quick reply.   If I knew where the bonnet switch was I would do it !   My hubby is working away at the moment and will be back Friday so hopefully he will know what to do

Have a look at the pictures here:-

It's near the top r/h side of the engine bay, you just press the clip on the plug to lift the tab and the plug can then be pulled off.
