Title: Alarming flat battery
Post by: mickeydeane on 08 May 2008, 10:20:02
I tried to start my Omega ast night. The battery was flat, so I tried to jump it off another car. As soon as the leads were on, the Omega's alarm went off, but it wouldn't start.

How do I switch the immobiliser off long enough to get the engine started ? or am I better off getting a battery charger ?

Cheers.

It is just doing its job as it "thinks" the car is being stolen !!

As soon as you connect the jump leads, use the keyfob to disable the alarm, then you should be able to start the car.
