Title: 2001 2.2 Auto (Petrol) Z22XE

Hi, new to the site.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I can get an engine for the above at a decent price?

All quotes I'm getting seem a lot higher than my mechanic suggested. Maybe I'm just being tight!

Any suggestions appreciated.

I'm not exactly sure what you are after ...  car ?? engine ?? gearbox ?? Petrol ? :)

No probs ....  I've looked in the Parts section and nothing seems to be there, if you're lucky one of the "breakers" might see this and respond :)

Where do you live, as that could be important in any member recommending a local scrapdealer for an engine.

Quite a common engine in other VX models, might be worth trawling the Vectra and Astra forums as well as the scrapyards.
