Title: Diff drive shaft oil seals
Post by: al and omega on 11 May 2008, 18:48:43
Hi, just checked under my car to find that there seems to be a small amount of diff oil around where the drive shaft goes into to diff.
Its only the one side (driver side), definatly think the seals on its way out, is it a tricky job to change it, think i may aswell do the other side too just to be on the safe side.
Its a 3.0 ('96) manual with limited slip diff anything special i should know before i get stuck in?! regards alex

Not sure what design of LSD it is, does it need special oil for topping up/refilling.
