spoke to a garage about my car engine vibrating when fan kicks in he told me that it could be fan balancing... if this is the case anyone got any sites where i can order from as the garage would probably order from vauxhall and their expensive

When you say the engine vibrates when the fan kicks in, do you mean the rad fan, or does it happen when you switch the air con on?

You've got me confused now, mugsymo.
In your original thread, you said it was the Engine that was vibrating
when the main cooling fan came on, not the main cooling fan.
Which is why you disconnected the fan and overheated in traffic.
Now you are saying that the fan is vibrating, not the engine.
I've not looked at the wiring diagram, but there must be a way of
getting the fan to run with the engine off but ignition on.
This will mean either shorting or earthing the sensor. As said,
not looked at wiring diagram, so don't know which it is. Someone
on here will know.
This will enable you to pinpoint what is vibrating. Your engine or
your fan.
At worst, you could run your engine up to temperature so that the fan
comes on, then switch off your engine and turn ignition back on.
Have you checked that the fan and shroud is mounted firmly?
Shouldn't be able to wobble it about at all. I doubt very much that
plastic fan blades have suddenly gone out of balance, unless
they have been damaged or bent.
