Hiya Guys -
I'm going to be doing my cambelt, aux belt and water pump change on the coming Saturday. Apart from when I rebuilt the top end of my Elite, I've never done a timing kit on one of these before - but Marks DVD has given me some confidence so I'm going to follow it, take some notes, and do a DIY job, this time with the valve timing set up perfectly :)
Please - would someone be so kind as to lend me a cam locking kit, the bit that locks the crank onto the water pump, and the wedge?
I'd be more than happy to cover postage costs etc, and give my word that I'll send it straight back first class as soon as the job is complete that weekend.
Any volunteers?
Cheers :D

Sorry, mine is out with Allenm at moment, and probably will be for a few weeks (his tensioner failed, and has caused valve damage)...

No worries Jamie, I'm sure someone will be along soon!

PM me your address - I haven't sent mine out yet, so I don't know how much it will be for a suitably sized jiffy bag and postage?
it's the full sykes-pickavant kit (part number 02300000) and I've printed out the Sealey VS130 kit instructions which are a bit better than the SP ones which are pictures only.
I've used it (albeit only once) so I know it's OK ... and am still driving the car I used it on ;D

PM sent matey, you're a star...

both the sp and sealey instructions are a bit difficult to follow - the sp ones in particular. Get Robin Hood's £3 cambelt DVD which is really easy to follow :)

I've already got the DVD - it's absolutely brilliant :D

Gotta agree - Robin Hood has done a spectacular job. The chief spanner monkey featured in DVD was alright as well :P

Cheers Mark - Sounds2k is posting me one over the next day or two, so all is well.
Time to go bend a few valves :D
