I recently spent a week near Scarborough in a Scandanavian Lodge with a private hot tub but it will be booked up too. :(

If you try looking in Pickering or Thornton-le-dale, it's only 20/25 mins drive to Scarborough, or take your caravan and stay in that!  ;)

I'm gonna sell mine in the spring so look for a long, hot , dry summer.

Are any of these hotels any use? http://www.laterooms.com/en/p1023/pv6CABAZ/Hotels.aspx?k=scarborough&c=100&d=20071027&rt=2,0&n=2&Submit=Search

Just spent the weekend at a hotel in Hovingham, near Pickering, called the Worsley Arms (www.worsleyarms.com). It's close enough to Scarborough to visit but far enough away to be "on your own" if you get my drift. Lovely little village for a wander round too. The restaurant is first class and the bar has quite a few decent whisky's too  :y
