Going to be doing some work on the car tomorrow and need to know :
On a 2 litre what size spanner to remove the idle breather ?
How do I remove the O2 sensor ? Again what size spanner and how do I get access to it ? I believe it's at the back of the engine at the top of the exhaust.
Cheers

What do you mean by the idle breather? Idle Control Valve?
O2 sensor is located at the end of the front section of the exhaust just before the join of the mid section - think it's a 19mm from memory but may be bigger. I used an adjustable spanner to take it off. Can be fairly difficult to remove - might be an idea to get some wd40 on it first.

I mean the banjo thingy in the throttle body.

What's the easiest way to get a spanner onto the O2 sensor ?

Here's a complete guide with pictures on removing/cleaning the idle control valve, throttle body and breather pipes. You need to use a torx or allan key to take off the control valve itself.

Use an open ended spanner or an adjustable not a ring spanner to take off the o2 sensor.

Cheers Ricky, got the guide printed already. How do I get access to the O2 sensor from underneath from the left etc etc?

You'll need to get the car up on axle stands, clearance ain't great because it's at the middle of the car. It's six and half whether you put them at the front or the back, you should still get in there. I'm pretty sure its on the near side (passenger side).
