presumably, you changed the entire engine loom, too?

In these situations I think of "suck, squeeze, bang, blow"

For an engine to run, you need air, fuel, and spark on compression - you need to find which one you're lacking :D

I'll follow this with interest.

Have you any fault codes stored?

i have also done a compression test an it was fine...ive changed the entire loom yes ;)
dosent seem like im missin any of those things thats vhats bugging me..
seems like the cars misfiring...
i can post a video later of when im turning the key so you can listen ;)

only fault code i can remember that i got was egr valve but the car should start anyway?

If you have compression, spark, fuel and "missfire" .. then its either igntion timing or valve timing.... I'd imagine the valve timing hasn't been touched .. so it's ignition timing .....

and the most common cause of problems there is wrong lead to wrong plug !!

so check from DIS pack to plugs to ensure you have the correct connections.... otherwise the spark is happening on an open cylinder !!

ive checked the igniting timing several times and it stands correct....adding av video of my car here:

There might be a few that advise against this but a can of cold start from halfords will start just about anything.  I'd give it a try and see what happens, just spray a little in the air intake.

When you changed the cambelt did you use a locking kit?

I wonder if the cam timing is incorrect....bit of a long shot

didnt do it the first time.....but did it after i found out how sensitive a v6 was.....vauxhall checked it and said it was correct but i wonder if i have the cams 180degrees out så i will turn them this weekend an will see if it fires then ;)

I'd read the fault codes and see if the car will give you a clue...

Any possibility it could be the crank sensor - doesn't the 6 pot need the engine running to log a fault?

When you changed the timingbelt, was all the sprockets aligned with their marks? Sounds like the timing is incorrect.

I did the same once, just a few teeth wrong, and it would't start.
