no m8 it is on a slider when your air con is on it blows in unless you slide the slider across to close it

The glove comartment in my facelift is too bloody small to make it practical to put anything in that you'd want to cool anyway.

Useless space in my opinion on the facelift since the advent of the airbag.

Well now you come to mention it, WHATS THAT ALL ABOUT ! you spend a good few grand on one of the country's luxury cars thats got toys up to its eyeballs and the put a glove box in the height of a pair of bloody gloves ! My face lift has got the 4 CD changer in the dash, where do i put my 4 cd cases? my old mondeo was great cos you could keep the cd cases in the front armrest, and that cost me £300, and my mig was £5k

I tried to cool a drink can once in an earlier car's glove box, it was empty when I came to open it. Closing the lid had punctured it.

A long time later, my phone installation became unpredictable, the carbonated drink had corroded the power connections under the glove box.

The glove boxes never were any bigger.
