Ok, I was wondering if any expects can give me some pointers to a problem I seem to have. I'll explain the scenario
When the temperature rises in the engine, my fans come on no problem at around 95 and bring the temperature down.
When the temperature is high and I switch the engine off the fans are on and the auxiliary pump is working and eventually goes off I guess when the temperature goes down.
Problem I have is after this, when I switch on the ignition the temperature rises to around 110, when I start the car the fans start right away and the temperature drops again.
Is this a problem with the auxiliary pump not staying on long enough or something else?
Thanks

It's totally normal, all my Meega's have done this :)

As far as I have always been ware it is just the residue of heated water still in the system that gives a brief high reading before quickly dropping as the cooling system is engaged again.
Nothing to worry about! :y

That's basically it - there's no flow.
If you de pressurise the coolant system with just the ignition on you'll see the gauge drop.
