where do you put transmission fluid i can only fid black cap on passanger side is this for auto box or power sterring 1999 2.5 v6 salloon and how easy is it to change gearbox filter

The filller for the auto gearbox is actually on the drivers side of the gearbox not under the bonnet.
To change the filter is not that hard, a little messy and you will need the gaskets too

Easy enough, but messy.

There is no access from the engine.

All you have is a level plug on the side of the sump with which to check the level.

You need to drop the larger gearbox sump to change the filter.

Then there's always the lazyman's ATF change, syphoning the old stuff out  slowly with a 500cc syringe.  You don't get to inspect/clean/change the filter, or check for bits of the thrust washer, but it is better than doing nothing.
