Title: Fault Codes - O2 sensor...
Post by: Danny on 08 June 2008, 20:43:38
Captain Zok just had a look at my car and hooked up his laptop to it (much appreciated) and the codes that came up are

38 - O2 sensor 1 circuit voltage low
98 - O2 sensor 2 circuit voltage low

anyone able to tell me where to go from here??

You're welcome mate.
To add to this I cleared those stored codes which were showing as not present.
We took it for a quick run up the ring road and the 38 returned on accelleration EML seemed to be flickering then went off as Danny eased off the throttle.

I'd check the wiring from the o2 sensor to the lpg ecu (o2 sensor end).

thinking about it, didnt think to clear the codes then run it just on petrol, but i've ran the car on petrol now and again and never had the EML come on

Hmm. I would try clearing it and running it on petrol for a while. See if it comes back. Then switch to gas.. It could well be that the mapping for the LPG is out at a certain level of engine load, and it is unable to pull the fuelling back in.
