Sorry matey, dont have a clue then.
As a matter of interst have you checked the fuses to make sure that none have blown.

what was wrong with old one, was it same prob?
Exactly wat is not working on it?
-
connectors pushed fully home? is it alive at all (lights on, sampling fan running...?)
As said some more details about the original fault, and the symptoms it now has would be useful..
-
Also, did the panel come off same body style (ie saloon/estate)?
-
right sorry to take so long to answer

the fan is working from 1 to 9 like it should but ican,t change were the air comes out fromand also there is no hot air blowing out wotever the dials read and it will not reset hope thats enough information

Without knowing the fault its complaining about, I cannot begin to make suggestions, other than check all connections are firmly home, and no bent pins
-
could it be the resistor pack on the side of the heater unit

went out there today had the panel out again and found that the sampler fan was jammed for one and also after changing fan
found the yellow multi plug was loose and not making contact
rectified that and every thing seems to be hunky doori :yexept
when you turn ignition off you still get little straight lines coming up
can that be taken out by tech 2 later? and thanks for all the response to this thread
GARY :y

If its working, I would suspect they are old codes. Not sure if they clear on their own after a while, or if they need to be cleared with Tech2
