hi all,
just a thought.....
several folk have been asking about firmware updates.would it not be possible for someone in the know to list the various upgrades and the benifits of such? it would save a lot of dublicate questions.

Single System DTC Read  
All Systems DTC Read    
SRS/Airbag reset  
MID reprogram    
GID/CID pair/depair . . . Carpass required, and new items in Delivery Mode
Climate Control reprogram  
Cruise Enable  
Gearbox Update . . . Mini facelift or Facelift only
Single Key Program . . . Carpass and proof of ownership required
Multiple Key Program . . . Carpass and proof of ownership required

Here's the info I know of that I collected when I 1st joined the forum.

Too many options to give complete list.

Auto gearbox is worthwhile, climate on facelifts and very early prefacelift climate panels (early 95 cars).

Just had my firmware updated by The Boy including the gearbox. I wasn't sure about the geabox at first but having driven at bit further now it is an improvement on how it was. I would recomend having it done.
