Title: My Air Circulation light keeps coming on at start
Post by: willyboy on 13 June 2008, 15:35:15
After my 400 mile trip other day I had used the air circulation button odd time also ECO , & Clim control in my 3.0v6 elite...
Now pretty much every time I start the car (not every time mind) for some reason  the light on the "Air Circ Sys" button is on & I have to press it to turn it off, never done it before ,any ideas how to make it go back to normal ?

thnx Willy

I would first of all check that the air con pollen filter isn't blocked or soaked with stagnant water from the blocked drain from the scuttle.  :y

Hmm, so it shouldn't automatically come on then.

I believe the function (and hence light) is controlled by ECC ECU, which can be diagnosed.  Are you near me?

Thats all fine under there, as on my other Omega, the drain hole once was blocked held about 1/2 gall of water, so since then check that quite often !

Hmmm.  Battery not getting tired is it?

If it reoccurs, and you're passing either Marks_DTM or I, pop in and we'll see if we can work out whats going on.

I have got exactly same problem in exactly same situation (used it during a long trip). Try reseting the a/c, but it still does it. battery fairly new-shouldn't cause problem. The only thing I can think of is polen-filter
