Title: LPG conversion
Post by: HolyCount on 14 June 2008, 15:47:22
I have been offered a fairly new ( but used) multi point gas kit to do the front end upgrade on the elite from the single point.

It is currently in a 3 litre miggy and comes with the engine bay loom, so installation / swap over should be relatively easy, on the assumption that the looms for the 2.5 and 3 litre are the same ---- are they ????

you will fine that the looms are generic and are not designed for one specific car.

2.5 or 3.0 will be fine, as Kevin has said software and OBD cable are essential.

what make is the kit?

New kits are cheap enough not to mess with used ones, IMO

Possibly true, James -- but the £300 plus saved buys a lot of LPG  :)
