Hello hoping someone can help am now about change the crank sensor on my 2.0 r-reg omega, where do i find the sensor and wiring plug on the engine as so far can only find how to do it on a v6 on the site so could do with a ponit in the right place!

From Memory it is on the left hand side of the engine at the bottom and toward the front. It is held in by one bolt. Not the best directions I know!
If nobody comes up with anything better I'll take a photo for you.

Put your hand on the oil dipstick tube.
Run your hand down the tube until you meet the crankcase.
Feel forward, towards the front of the engine, approx 2".
You'll feel the mounting bolt and then the sensor.
The wiring runs behind the power steering pump and up the
passenger side of the cambelt cover. You'll see it mounted
on built in clips on the cambelt cover. The wiring then continues
over the cambelt cover and connects to a plug in the vicinity
of the alternator.
