Tell me it's not pre-diluted, only I made some up at 50/50 ratio, & it looks rather "weak" :o

Someone told me the other day that he ran his Miggy on 100% Antifrezze.
Would it cause any problems?

Yes .. the thermal characteristics are totally wrong, basically it will not transfer heat the way a 50/50 mix is designed to, and probably the viscosity would be all wrong for both the radiator and the water pump to work efficiently.
The makers of the car and the antifreeze say 50/50 mix FOR A REASON .. if they wanted it to be 100% antifreeze and rip us off for even more cash .... don't you think they'd try it ???

Sorry to hi jack this thread but what is the preferred anti freeze for the Omega?
I just ordered some green for a Landrover and Bardahl red type D was delivered .My supplier says green isn't available over here .can Type D red be used in the Omega ?

Be aware that some reds do not mix well with some older types, causing problems.
GM's own red happily mixes with blue, and is the one I use.

Hi,
Ive just bought Red antifreeze again for my Omega from Vauxhall.
P/no 93165162 £10.85, ABS card £8.08.

Use the proper stuff .....
Vauxhall's own red antifreeze retails at around £10 - £11 per 5 litres.
Put in at 50/50 content, and everything should be fine.
At this price, I didn't bother with other brands.
