Title: Overheating ........
Post by: carpnick on 07 July 2008, 16:04:06
Hi,
At my wits end.....  just recently (in the last couple of weeks) bought a 10 year old Omega Estate 2.0 16v CD - all going OK - a car that I really wanted for ages!  Today suddenly overheated, water & coolant level OK - oil level OK, panicking big time as to what it might be,  anybody got any ideas and is there  a mobile mechanic fairly local to the Ongar (near Harlow) area?  Is there anyone out there who could advise as I really am desperate.
Heres hoping,
Nick

It might be the thermostate stuck closed, how long does it take before it starts to overheat???
Have you tried it with the heater on hot??
