what is average oil consumption on 2,5 v6 manual
Very dependent on the engine and its history.
e.g.
My 2.5V6 minifacelift uses just under 1 litre every 1000 miles, this is due to it having the heads replaced twice following cambelt failure and the 148000 miles on the clock. So, the heads and valves are all in tip top condition and the rings are aged hence it consume s a little more
My other 2.5V6 does not even go from max to min on the dipstick over a 4K interval. This has full regular oil changes using fully synth oil and has never had any engine problems or major work.
-
My 2.6 seems to use almost no oil from one oil change to the next.
I have no idea if this is usual or not.
-
Mine has no noticeable consumption either.

No noticeable consumption although its a 97 model..
Change it every 5000 -7000 km according to season..
Covered distance : 127500 KM..
ps: if you dont have any oil leakage from somewhere else try
compression testing ..

mine is 129000 but it uses a little of oil, newer measured on 1000 km but i will.
no oil leak that i can see.
-
None for mine that I notice. its 3.0 man 96 and sits on 150000.

My 2.5 GLS hasnt used a drop in 5000+ miles and is still a clear golden colour. 63K on the clock.
-
that's because all of you take care of your car's not like people here in Croatia. :y
