I now fed-up with having to replace rocker gaskets on omegas. Can anybody tell me which model of Vectra I need to source the rocker covers from. I have been told they are Ally and a better option.
Cheers

The normal ones are excellent providing a few things are done CORRECTLY.
1. Only use genuine VX gaskets.
2. Only use genuine Vx Black sealant, and apply it correctly
3. Only torque the covers to 8 Nm - not a fraction more.
4. Clean breather system regularly and properly.
That is all it takes ... :)

To answer your question, any from the 2.5 V6 Vectra.
But, make sure the breathers are totally clean as per the maintenance guide on here or it will blow the crank seal!
You alos have to re-locate the oil filler so get a funnel (it ends up on the drivers side at the back of the engine bay)

Which V6 do you have? 2.5/3.0 or 2.6/3.2?
Reason why I ask is because 2.6/3.2 have DIS packs over each bank hence have different covers to the 2.5/3.0 which has a single dispack at the rear of the engine.

Cheers guys. I have a 2000(W) 3.0 V6 Auto. Its seeping oil outta the right hand bank. As did my last one. I have sucked all the oil out of the plug wells and so far they are remaing dry. Just getting a leak when starting from cold and having covered a few miles. After that its fine. But it will only continue to get worse me thinks.

They do this for a reason - most likely that the breathers have never been cleaned (as far as I know it is not on the service schedule) and/or too long between oil changes.
I suggest you follow the advice in the previous posts - replace with genuine seals AND clean the breathers. Thereafter adopt a regime of regular oil changes (I do every 5k - others do more often) and breather cleaning (not a big job once you have done the initial clean).

If you have a 3.0 you can use the standard Vectra 2.5 covers as advised, you just need to swap the covers onto to the opposite bank from the Vectra to allow access to the filler (It will therefore be by the fuel lines), if you leave the filler cover on the same bank the plenum will obscure it on an Omega!
EDIT: Sorry for the repeat, just read Mark DTM's post which says exactly that!
Is there any oil on the lip of the sump or around the pressure switch?
