Title: Rattle and Drop!
Post by: Drewomega on 10 July 2008, 12:32:32
Hi! I have just put on a new tyre on the offside rear wheel. Now there is a knock/rattle on the nearside rear suspension and the level seems to have dropped an inch or two. Any ideas out there?

Nope! Spring is ok. Could it be the self levelling device?

it could (check the mechanism is in one piece), but not sure what the knock/rattle is.  was it there before the tyre change?

Wasn't aware of it! Just wondering something has broken on the offside since jacking up the nearside changing the tyre.

I would check that the link piece is still attached/in one piece.

Will have to wait for the weather to clear as it is persisting down at the moment.
