Title: 2.5TD FAULT CODES
Post by: Seth on 07 July 2008, 22:17:38
My tractor is not running correctly - revs slow to pick-up after gear-change. EML is on permanently.

Local garage used a Bosch computer to read-off three codes.
They are:
92 Driving speed sensor control device open circuit/positive short
81 Needle sensor open circuit
82 Needle sensor faulty

Anyone able to help a frustrated tractor owner? - I'd be most greatful chaps!

sounds like the leccy connector on injector no 4 is unplugged or wiring damaged.

That bosch reader gives come 'dangle berries' text.  92 just means you aint got a cruise stalk.

Yep - you're spot on ....
Mine's a GLS with no cruise-control.
I'll have a quick gander at No.4 injector tomorrow. If nothing's obvious, then it'll be back to the geezers who changed the injection pump post haste!
Now you can see why I'm hi**ed off. It ran really well after the pump-change, (a tad over £1200), so I expect it to be on top form at this kind of expense.
Where does this sensor wire go to - do you know?

Took the tractor back to the injection people .......
No.4 injector (start of injection sensor) is at fault.
Awaiting a new one - anyone got an idea of how much it's gonna cost?

I don't think there is any official web space to get info on the chip, best thing is to contact the guys as mentioned and you can have a chat about it.

I was apprehensive about doing it at first, but now I have done 3k with mine, it must have paid for itself 3 or 4 times over so was well worth doing.
