Hi
In need of a clutch for my 2.0L 16V 94 Omega Est.(Clutch begining to slip)
If it's just wear to the friction plate (which i believe it is) will i get away with fitting just the plate? Or will i have to fit new pressure plate and slave too and if so anyone know of the cheapest place to buy.
Thanks Julian.

Buypartsbuy do the LUK clutch kit which is essentially the same as VX as they make it for GM.
Chances are you would get away with just changing the friction plate if the pressure plate springs and surface are ok and the thrust bearing is OK.
Personally having gone to the trouble of removing the gearbox, I would be fitting a full clutch kit and thrust bearing. Really not that much more money.

I'm with Maria..if going to the trouble, then fit the lot.
Consider - you buy just the friction plate and the pressure plate is scored. Then what? OK - you buy the 3 piece clutch in case...the pressure plate is now on the floor to get at the friction plate - do you put the old one back on, or the new one in your other hand?
