I bought mine for about £25 - seemed to be fine.

There's a good guide to fitting in the maintenance section btw.

Beware, there appears to be varying evels of quality on these.

I tried a cheap one and the first thing I noted is how difficult it was to fit on the body mounted pivot.....it then failed within 12 months.

Other pattern items I have fitted have been fine so avoid the uber cheap ones (look for OEM ones) and definately avoid the ones from LMF (Market Harborough) as, just like thier crank sensors, the quality is shite!

Example:

Excellent OEM kit:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Vauxhall-Steering-Idler-Arm-110mm-9195731-Omega-Carlton_W0QQitemZ190234444351QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item190234444351&_trksid=p3286.m14.l1318

Cheap crap and more useful as a toffee hammer:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Vauxhall-Steering-Idler-Arm-110mm-9195731-Omega-Carlton_W0QQitemZ190234444314QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item190234444314&_trksid=p3286.m14.l1318

A nice genuine one for sale here (auction):

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VAUXHALL-OMEGA-STEERING-IDLER-NEW-GENUINE_W0QQitemZ320272196869QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item320272196869&_trksid=p3286.m14.l1318

And its definately genuine as the markings are all correct in the casting!

I just have!  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D
What I should've put against the picture was ..... WTF would you buy a rusty tatty looking 2nd hand idler like that? You'd probably be better off with a new pattern part.  :y
