Title: Repair/Service Manuals on CD
Post by: Rockfordk on 25 July 2008, 16:29:40
I have seen a few of these for sale on Ebay. I have looked for a Haynes book for a 2003 Omega but without success. Any idea if these are any good, or if not where I could get one from. I have the manuals that come with the car.

Its worth getting the Haynes book for the pre facelift model.   The majority of it is the same - mainly DBW and bodywork that's different from recollection.

The cd's on ebay are knock offs and not allowed to be discussed on here :-X

The Haynes is useful, despite being prefacelift only - mechanically similar.

The workshop manual CDs on ebay are invariably illegal knockoffs of GM's own TIS2000 software, and we do not allow discussion of acquiring or distributing copyrighted material.

If you buy a legal copy of TIS, its powerful, but not as readable as Haynes.
