Ignore 15 and change the crank sensor - 19. Only buy genuine vauxhall crank sensor.

i am going to change the crank sensor why do you say ignore code 15

When the crank sensor faiils it usually brings up a few random codes as well. Very unlikely you will need to do anything else after changing the crank sensor.

the problem i had is the revs pick up on thier own to 3000 rpm. i have cleaned all breathers and pipes and the throttle body also had some muck in header tank so have replaced oil cooler ,new plugs ,dis pack ,leads and all new gaskets and o rings all genuine vx parts all was ok for 800 miles now started to play up again

If the revs are creeping up and you are sure it's not the ICV - might be worth cleaning and then lubricating again, then you most likely have an airleak somewhere.
First port of call is to change the crank sensor - it can bring an array of strange problems when it fails. Still very much doubt that you need to worry about the CTS.

off to vx in the morning then for crank sensor, where does it connect to ,as i want to see the shape of the connector where it joins .as i have been told there are two different connector shapes
thanks for you help

Whats not clear in the guide is that you have to re-route the wiring loom end of the crank sensor wire to exit the cable tray through one of the slots about half way along the tray.
Take the top off the tray and trace the sensor wire back from the connector, freeing off any tape etc holding it in place. There is a suitable exit hole in the tray near the idle valve cable exit, bring the wire out of there and across to the aircon pipe which is where the wire from the sensor should reach if you follow Marks guide.
With the cable re-routed it should run a lot cooler and be less likely to fail in future.

i have replaced the crank sensor today seems to of cured the over revving problem .turned the ignition on and off twenty times to clear listed faults ,19 has now gone but have still got fault no 15 tempreture sensor voltage high ,engine temp is 92 / 95 fan cuts in the drops back to 92 is this the correct running temp . should i replace said sensor,

Has the engine management light gone out or is it still lit?
