Title: Torx- sizes
Post by: kcl on 01 August 2008, 21:10:01
Would be a good idea to list all the torx -key sizes (both male and female, but esp. the female) that you have found on Omegas? SOmeone must have the info? Most of us don't (yet) have a fulll range of female torx sockets...

I only have 2 female Torx - E8 and E10 and i think I used both of them to swap an engine.  Male Torx?  I have a set from T1 to T50, but think only the T25 and T40 have come out of the box so far..

You can get a female torx rail with every size you'll need.  I got a draper one for about a tenner on an online tool shop.  Can't remember which one it was.  There are plenty about though.  Here's a couple of links for them...

Remember you'll need adapters for 1/4" 1/2" 3/8" depending on which drive you have.
