Does anyone know when the 5 speed autobox was added to the range?
That's if it was available and I'm not geting really confused.
-
Not available for the UK market.
I believe they were fitted to the Opel range along with the Electronic folding door mirrors.
-
Think Skruntie is right, were on some continental diesals I think?
-
I hope when they do a replacement for the Omega we get a whole load of new goodies.
6 Speed Auto
Folding Door Mirrors.
Multiple Cup Holders
Head Up Display
Missile Launchers to Irradicate Reps permantly out of the Fast Lane.
-
...and 3.2's - Hans-V6 is 5sp Auto

I wouldn't hold my breath for a replacement for an Omega. It's cheaper & easier to just use & adapt existing front wheel drive platforms for any future car.
Cup holders? :-/ In all the years I've been driving I have never ever thought .... 'Mmm? I wish I had a holder for this drink' :-? :y :y

I personally dont care for the ones I saw for the Catera, as I think they are completly in the wrong place.
I like my add on Air Vent ones, I can keep my Coke chilled in Summer and Coffe Warm in Winter.
I see where yo are coming from on the FWD layout, but surely there must still be a RWD Market out there.
-
i got cup holders in my elite. 8-) 8-) they're fitted into the rear centre armrest. not much f*ck*n use when your drivin tho ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
The pop out ones on the vectra wern't too bad, however I wouldn't trust them with more than 1/3 a can of coke!
-
The standard omega one works fine. Wedged between the handbrake & tunnel Ridge.
-
Only fitted to Opels...
-
And don't forget the two cup holders in the glove box!!! ;D ;D ;D
