Hi there
         I have a 2.5 estate Auto........
When I have her in drive and try to pull away quickly she hesitates, then goes, then hesitates etc.....
   If I drive her with the gears, 1 2 3 etc, she pulls so much better....

Any ideas ?

try turning tc off then boot it in drive :y

I have, still no real difference.....
