Title: Elite brakes

RE V6 Elite - front brakes.
Just changed front discs for Vx TC items & fitted the new pads.  Plse someone confirm that pad with rubber backing fitted to non piston side of calliper & pad no rubber backing fitted to piston side of calliper.  Thanx.  If i got it wrong will have to swap them in morning :-/

The previous fitter had them the wrong way around before hand :(

I don't remember my pads having rubber on the back at all :-/

Vx ones - pack of 4 - 2 with rubber on back, 2 without.

Mine where VX ones I just dont remember them having rubber on the back but it is over 12 months ago  :-?

Yup, correct way is rubber sbacked pad to the outer, non-piston part.

Fit them wrong and the brakes will feel softer as the small contact area of the piston squashes the rubber!
